Coverage and authority
For interstate jobs we carry US DOT and MC numbers, and close to home we hold Georgia’s household-goods mover license. The free federal floor of 60 cents a pound rides on every load; want more, and we’ll set full-value protection insuring a load for as much as $1,000,000. You then have nine months from the move date to bring a claim.
Are you an actual moving company, or just a booking service?

Can you hold my things between closings?
We do — secured short-term storage on a weekly rate, ideal when your sale and purchase dates don't line up. When your new place is ready, the same crew pulls it and delivers.
What protection comes with the move?
Basic released-value coverage of 60 cents per pound comes standard on every job; ask and we'll upgrade you to full-value protection reaching $1,000,000. Any claim can be filed within nine months of your move.
Can my apartment complex get a certificate of insurance?
Yes. Della writes COIs for condos, complexes, and job sites — send whatever your building requires when you book and she handles it.
Who moves a piano or a gun safe?
Jamal's crew handles uprights, baby grands, and safes through tight Olde Town doorways and Summerville stairs. It's a flat add-on, spelled out on the estimate up front.
How does payment work, and do you take a deposit?
A small deposit locks your date and later credits against the total, and we'll take it as cash, check, or card. The balance is due when the job wraps, at the exact figure your estimate locked in.
