Bridging the gap between CSRA closings
The storage request I field most is that gap between closing dates. You’re out of the Martinez rental Friday; the Evans house closes next week. Secured space at our Appling warehouse off Columbia Rd covers it — we load you out, hold it days or months, then deliver when you give the word.
Pricing runs by vaulted unit — figure a one-bedroom’s worth per unit, two for a 2-bed, three for a 3-bed home. Each unit is $135 per month, with the first two weeks free whenever we also handle the load-in and delivery. Anything we store and haul rides at the 60-cents-per-pound released-value baseline, insured to a $1,000,000 ceiling.
Storage examples
| Move | Units | Per-month rate |
|---|---|---|
| 1-bed apartment hold | 1 unit | $135 |
| 2-bed condo between closings | 2 units | $260 |
| 3-bed home between sales | 3 units | $390 |
| 4–5 bed or lakefront long hold | 4–5 units | $510 – $640 |
| Seasonal or PCS deployment hold | 2–3 units | $260 – $390 |
Load-in and load-out crew time prices on the regular $150/hr two-mover or $200/hr three-mover basis, flat-rated before we start. You keep a full nine months to file on whatever we store and move for you.
The real cost of a storage stopgap
Book a public storage unit on your own and you’re paying labor twice over: one crew loads the truck, hauls your things across the Augusta metro to the rented bay and stacks them in, and weeks later a second crew has to break that whole stack back down. With our warehouse, the crew loads everything a single time, holds it dry under roof, then rolls that same load straight onto the truck headed to your new place. Book it together with a residential or long-distance move so a single crew covers both ends.
What your Appling, GA flat rate already covers
- Vaulted, under-roof indoor storage inside our Appling warehouse just off Columbia Rd
- Load and deliver with us and your first fortnight of storage is free
- Every unit is sealed and logged on an inventory, never dumped into a shared bin
- We shift everything on pallet jacks, so nothing is dragged across the warehouse floor
- When you're set, re-delivery runs on the very same flat rate as the first move
- Racked bays hold pianos and safes, and cargo coverage runs as high as $1,000,000
So what does it come to?
Two uniformed movers with the truck go for $150/hr on the clock, or seal the meter with a signed CSRA flat figure that lays the whole move out on one page
Blankets, dollies, shrink-wrap and the careful hand-carries a Grovetown ranch or a Summerville hillside staircase calls for are already baked into the rate, and so is any Certificate of Insurance a downtown Augusta high-rise or an Evans HOA wants on file. Want a third mover on the crew? That takes the hourly to $200/hr.
