Our privacy policy in plain words
Below is what Appaloosa Moving and Storage collects when you browse this site or ask for a quote, how we use it, and how to have it erased. I signed off on the plain wording myself. Run into something this page skips over? The contact page reaches us.
What we collect here
- Quote-form entries — your name, phone, email, pickup and drop-off, target date, and any notes. That’s what lets us build your flat rate.
- Site analytics — anonymized page views, so we know which CSRA areas draw interest. No name attached.
- Call records — ring the office and we note the date, time, and quote we gave. No call recording.
What we do with it
Everything on that form exists for one reason — to write your quote and run your move — and it goes no further. It is never sold to lead-aggregators, broker outfits, or moving directories, and there is no referral kickback anywhere in it. If another mover calls already holding your details, that leak didn’t come from us.
Beyond our office, who touches it
- Our payment processor — when a deposit is charged, the card runs through them, so the full number lands on our own systems at no point.
- Our insurance carrier — the one time they’re handed a building name and address is when you’ve asked us to issue a certificate of insurance for the job.
- And that’s the whole list. Data brokers get nothing from us, and any remarketing stays inside plain site analytics — it never reaches further.
Erasing your record
Want your quote-form details wiped? Send us the word through the contact page. We clear them from our office records within five business days and email to confirm.
Cookies, and updates to this page
Two cookies run here — one for your session, one for analytics — and wiping either from the browser whenever you like won’t break the quote form. If anything meaningful changes, we repost it with a fresh date and email anyone with a quote in progress.
