Doing the hourly math on a local move
- Ground-floor 1-bedroom apartment: figure two movers for 3–5 hours at $150/hr — roughly $460–$690.
- 2-bedroom home or apartment: 2 movers, 5–8 hours at $150/hr, about $790–$1,190.
- 3-bedroom house: 3 movers, 6–10 hours at $200/hr, about $1,300–$2,000.
- House with four-plus bedrooms: a whole-day job priced flat, generally $2,100–$3,300 once volume and access are figured in.
What the hourly rate already includes
Your uniformed W-2 crew, the truck itself, drive time out of the Appling yard, and all the blankets, dollies, shrink-wrap and tarps — it’s all in there. There’s no fuel surcharge, no travel fee, and ordinary household stairs never add a penny to your bill.
